About Me

Jewellery Inspired Travels & Life!

How it all started

I graduated from the University of Northumbria in 1996 with a BA Hons in 3D Design. After graduating I honed my skills working for a number of UK contemporary jewellers.

I also spent 17 years working with a Hertfordshire jewellery designer where I further developed my craft. I worked with customers to create their own, special, jewellery commissions. These pieces were created in a variety of metals and included a range of gem stones. This is still an aspect of jewellery making I love; getting to know my clients at the special times. Working with people to mark weddings, births and birthdays, anniversaries and even memory pieces to remember a loved one. Each aspect of jewellery making, whether it is making a new piece, or re-designing an old piece has it’s own joy and challenges!

Sally Andrews Jewellery

Hand crafted jewellery inspired by my travels to the far east and using ancient symbols and images from Hinduism and Buddhism.

In 2009 I established my own jewellery collection, ‘Yoga Jewellery’. Working in silver I created a range of jewellery inspired by the influences and ideals connected with the practice of yoga.

Most of my work is now carried out at my Hertford workshop.

With over 20 years of experience working in the field of jewellery making I continue to develop new ideas and design concepts. It is also a pleasure to share these skills with those who also want to learn the creative art of jewellery making.

All commissions welcome

I create bespoke commissions in silver, 9ct gold, 18ct gold, platinum & palladium. I am also able to help with jewellery repairs and ring re-sizing. In addition if you have old, unloved gold jewellery I can help create new family heirlooms by melting down and remaking into newly designed pieces.
